Dr. Charity Furcsik

Charity Furcsik, DNP, RN, CNE

Dr. Furcsik serves Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences as Assistant Professor in the undergraduate nursing programs and as the Nursing Program Director. Her clinical background includes over 24 years in long term care, medical surgical nursing, and nursing education. She serves on multiple college committees and has instructed across all programs of the Nursing Division. As the Nursing Program Director, she strives to make a positive impact on the future of students by promoting learning in and out of the classroom. She believes that from developing new and innovative teaching strategies to structuring inspiring curriculum, nursing faculty must be student-centered and invested in student success. This success carries over to influence nursing care and patient outcomes in practice.
