Bethany Nazarene College is a Christ-centered institution located in Bethany, Oklahoma-just west of Oklahoma City It is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Bethany Nazarene College is a fully accredited four year liberal arts college offering majors in twenty-six fields.
The Jazz Band is part of a comprehensive music department with eight full time and twelve part-time faculty. There are eight vocal and instrumental ensembles whose members represent majors from almost all of the departments on campus. The B.N.C. Jazz Band continues the excellence in performance which has been established by all the performing ensembles since their inception Although the Jazz Band has been in existence for some fifteen years, this album marks 'just the Beginning" of a new era for the group. This fully studio recorded (24 track} LP is the first of (ive or more albums to be recorded over the next decade.
